SJB Festival Singers perform in “PARADE”

paradeOn Monday, February 16, 2015, the SJB Festival Singers along with director Jared Berry performed in Manhattan Concert Productions PARADE by Jason Robert Brown, under the baton of the composer.  The performance featured Laura Benanti (Lucille Frank), Jeremy Jordan (Leo Frank)

With a book by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Alfred Uhry, a score by Jason Robert Brown, and co-conceived by Tony Award winner Harold Prince, Parade tells a controversial story of the 1913 trial of Jewish factory manager Leo Frank, who was accused and convicted of raping and murdering a 13-year-old employee, Mary Phagan, in Atlanta, GA. Paradewas Brown’s first Broadway production.
