JARED BERRY is the Director of Choirs at Manhasset High School, where he leads the Symphonic Choir, Men’s Choir, Select Ensemble, and Kinsmen, and serves as music director for the school’s mainstage musical. He is also the Artistic Director and Conductor of the Babylon Chorale, an eighty-voice intergenerational community choir known for its annual holiday, classical, and pops concerts. A founding manager, current singer, and board member of the Long Island-based eVoco Voice Collective, Mr. Berry remains active in the professional choral community.

Mr. Berry has an extensive background in performance and leadership. His ensembles have performed at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall and the Chautauqua Institution and have appeared at ACDA state conferences. Internationally, he has served multiple times as music director at the International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival in Harrogate, England. His productions have received numerous honors, including SavoyNet’s Princess Ida in 2019, which won Best Musical Direction and Best Chorus; the Blue Hill Troupe’s Patience in 2015, which earned Overall First Place and Best Animated Chorus; and SavoyNet’s Thespis in 2014, which received Second Place and Best Concerted Item.

For over a decade, Mr. Berry served as an instructor and Director of Administration at the New York State Summer School of the Arts (School of Choral and Vocal Studies), helping shape the next generation of vocal artists. He was also the Concert Music Director and Chorus Master for New York City’s Blue Hill Troupe, a musical theater company that supports charitable causes through performance.

An active member of the American Choral Directors Association, Mr. Berry currently serves as Honor Choir Chair for the 2027 National Conference. He has previously held national roles for the 2025 (Dallas, TX) and 2023 (Cincinnati, OH) conferences, regional roles for the 2020 (Rochester, NY), 2018 (Pittsburgh, PA), and 2016 (Boston, MA) conferences, and served as Program Chair for the 2022 Eastern Region Conference in Boston.

Outside of music, Mr. Berry is engaged in his faith community as Vice President of Finance at Temple Am Echad.

He holds a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Hofstra University, along with educational leadership certifications from both Hofstra University (SDBL) and the College of St. Rose (SDL/SBL).
