The Babylon Chorale celebrates its 70th anniversary during the 2019-2020 season. Newsday came to a rehearsal to do a feature article on the Chorale and its history.
The Babylon Chorale is a friendly, diverse, and well-organized group of singers from various Long Island communities who enjoy all types of vocal music. The Chorale has provided seasonal, classical, and light musical entertainment on Long Island since 1950. They present three performances each year: a holiday concert, a concert of classical repertoire, and a pops concert consisting of a variety of light music such as Broadway, pop, and jazz.
